Kingdom War Practice

The winds of war are upon us! Estrella War is near. Now is the time to prepare for WAR! Bring your weapons and your courage to the Kingdom War Practice on Sunday, January 6, 2008. We will be at the Empty Acres Equine
Resort in Buckeye on the large grass field south of the resort, beyond the line of trees.Site will open at 8 am with practice to commence shortly thereafter.   Site will close at 6 pm.

The site is wet but no glass containers are allowed.
This is a free event, and the non-member surcharge will not be in effect. You will need to go to Troll in order to sign the usual site waivers. Pets are allowed with proper immunization paperwork and must be on leashes. Please bring your own shade cover.

The war practice will feature armored combat, rapier, combat archery, siege, target archery and youth combat. There is also the Lady Muirenn Memorial Gauntlet Shoot which will take place promptly at 9am.

War is near! Join us on Sunday, January 6th and prepare for victory!

Site and Directions: Empty Acres Equine Resort. 10300 S. Miller Road, Buckeye, AZ, 85326.                              From Phoenix and Northern Arizona: Take I-10 west to Miller Road (Exit 114). Turn left and follow Miller Road south to past Hazen Road (a distance of approximately six miles). Miller Road will end and the entrance to Empty Acres’ grassy fields will be on your right (west side). Look for the SCA signs.

From Southern Arizona: Take I-10 West to I-8 West (Exit 199). Take the Butterfield exit (#119) to Hwy 85 North. Follow 85 for approximately 29 miles to W. Hazen Road. Take a right onto W. Hazen Road and follow it east
(approximately 2 miles) to Miller Road. Turn right (south) onto Miller Road and go a short distance to Empty Acres. Miller Road will end and the entrance
to Empty Acres’ grassy fields will be on your right (west side). Look for the SCA signs.

later than December 21, 2007. There is a $1 per transaction fee and you will
