Let’s face it – August is Too Darn Hot! Luckily we here in the woodland Barony of Ered Sul know how to balance the fiery beams of the Sun of Atenveldt with the cool shady ground of our beloved forest. There’s enough shade for everyone so come join us at Willard Springs for a weekend of revelry, relaxation, and fun!

We will be holding a Bacon Competition – yes, you read that right, a Bacon Competition! Please bring your favorite version of the meaty wonder, whether it be cooked, candied, fried or wrapped. It’s BACON us drool just thinking about it!

As always we will have an Arts & Sciences competition, as well as a Bardic competition, hardsuit tourneys, rapier tourneys, archery tourneys, and maybe even a few Irish wakes as well.

Please be aware that Ered Sul had a very dry winter which makes for a very hard summer for our Barony and our forests. While we hope that the monsoon season will be bountiful in water, the forest may still have fire restrictions at the time of this event. We are watching the weather diligently and will keep the populace up to date on any changes. Please plan to bring propane & propane accessories at this time.
Also, please bring trash bags and haul your trash off site. Leave site cleaner than you found it!

Come have fun, not in the sun!
